Appreciating the Beauty of Life

Are there times when you wanted time to stop? Have you ever wished to save a single moment and treasure it forever? Whether you want to bask in a wonderful scenery or to see amazing events, explore my gallery. I focus on capturing awe-inspiring things and happenings in the United States that often go unnoticed.

About Me

In October 1938, I was born in St. Louis, MO. In 1941, I moved to Kirkwood, MO. For my grade school education, I attended North Glendale Grammar School, for Junior High I went to Nipher.  After that, I went to Western Military Academy in Alton, IL and graduated in 1957. I also studied at Westminster College in Fulton, MO.

For 13 years, I worked at Western Military Academy. When the institution closed in May 1971, I moved to Winter Harbor, ME. I worked in a marina for more than nine years. Then I went to The Boat House in Southwest Harbor. Apon their closing, I went to Friend & Friend Honda in Elsworth, ME as partner manager. After 3 years, I was sent to a new start up self-storage operation where I worked for 13 years until it was sold.

When I retired from Coastal Drilling & Blasting in Ellsworth, ME in 2014, I finally found the time to do other activities I enjoy. I spent my retirement traveling around the country on my Honda Gold Wing motorcycle.

You're Only as Old as You Think You Are

I believe that age should not stop anyone from pursuing his or her dreams. For this reason, I am now doing the things I love and enjoy, such as:

  • Riding Motorcycles and All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs)
  • Practicing Shooting
  • Traveling to Scenic Places

In addition, I am a member of the following organizations:

Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA)

Taking You on an Adventure

Throughout my life, I toured different places. These include Mexico, Virgin Islands, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. Currently, I am looking forward to taking a train to see the west coast of Canada.

Every time I go on a vacation and marvel at an attractive landscape before me, I feel an urge to share the moment with everyone. That is why I ventured into photography. Take a look at the pictures I have taken to see the magnificent views I have witnessed.
